Watford defender Marco Davide Faraoni looks set to leave Vicarage Road this summer after it was revealed that he was not taking part in the Hornets’ pre-season training camp in Italy.
The majority of the squad travelled on Monday afternoon before undergoing medical testing at Udinese’s Stadio Friuli.
Faraoni has been linked with a few Italian sides over the summer; Serie A clubs Sassuolo and Verona, as well as newly-promoted Palermo are all reportedly interested in acquiring his signature.
The 22-year-old was also strongly linked with a move to Torino during last season’s January transfer window.
Javier Acuna and Iriney also failed to join up with a Watford squad that includes new signings Craig Cathcart and Matej Vydra.
The pair have been told that they are free to find new clubs this summer and it appears that Faraoni will be doing the same.
